Photography: Your Inner Wild

Youth will be given the chance to learn the basics of photography and expand on pre-existing skills. Each term features a specialized project that connects youth to the Program Theme.

GSA (Gender & Sexuality Alliance) Club

GSAs are student-led clubs that support LGBTQ youth and their allies. GSAs help make communities safer by providing a space free of judgment and assumptions.

Ukulele and Singing

Our Ukulele and Singing program is designed for youth of all skill levels. Participants will learn and perfect chords, have the opportunity to workshop songs of their choice, and learn more about the instrument of ukulele!

This program provide a positive space for participants to explore guitar and other music concepts. Youth will have the chance to explore different genres, strumming patterns, and chords.

Creative Ventures & Homework Drop-In

50 Queen will be open from 6-9pm on Tuesday to give youth a space to be fiercely creative and tackle homework.

Drawing: Character Development

This program will walk participant through many different ways that they can use sketching to bring their thoughts and the world around them to life. Skills developed in this program will transfer into other creative endeavours that youth pursue!

Brandon Mooney

Originally from just outside Ottawa, Ontario, Brandon Mooney has been playing guitar and singing for 15 years...

Jessica Lynn Wiebe graduated with her BFA from NSCAD University in 2015, and with her BEd from Acadia University in 2016..

Laura McRea

Laura completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education at the University of Ottawa, Ontario, and is currently working on a Masters degree from Nipissing University.

Dr. Henry Bishop

Dr. Henry V. Bishop was born in Weymouth Falls, Digby Co. NS. He is a direct descendant of both the Black Loyalists and migrant workers of Barbados.
