March Break Camp!

We’re putting on a March Break camp for youth who want to have fun being fiercely creative and have fun! 

What is MCCL?
The MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning is a beautiful and safe space designed for youth who want to express themselves through art. We bring professional artists to youth to help learn and grow through creativity and purpose.

Youth ages 12-16
$140 per camper (or pay what you can), $100 for each additional sibling or friend*
March 13-17th
10:00am-4:00pm (doors open at 9:00am)
Registration fee includes healthy snacks and all supplies

The morning will begin with icebreakers and warm-up games to get to know each other! Then we will establish and our community standards. The community standards are the foundation that we set as a group to ensure everyone has a safe, fun, and engaging week!
Rhonda Barrett will be joining us for a collage session in the afternoon! We will learn about mixing different colours, textures, and patterns to create individual and collaborative pieces of art.


We will be starting the day with drumming then JA will come for It’s My Future in the afternoon.


Technology meets creativity! Brilliant Labs will be joining us for a day of learning how innovation and technology both relies upon and fuels creativity. Brilliant labs provides interactive workshops to help show the power of technology and the fun we can have with innovation.


Let’s Sprout will be taking charge on Thursday for a full day on social and environmental justice programming. Let’s Sprout will be an interactive and exciting day for youth to learn about day-to-day ways that they can make positive and creative changes in their communities through social and environmental justice.


We will close out Creative Exposure Camp with a drumming session led by Dr. Henry Bishop and learning about some of the local creative spaces in downtown Dartmouth. We will wrap up the camp with a celebration of the artwork we’ve created and the performances we’ve taken part in.
