Quinn recently completed his undergraduate degree in International Development and Theatre Studies and is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Social Work at Dalhousie University. On top of his studies, he is also part of the coordinating team for the annual Nova Scotia High school Drama Festival and an active alumnus of the Nova Scotia Secondary School Students’ Association.
Quinn’s experience working with youth in the arts began when he was 11-years-old and declared that his elementary school needed to put on a play. Since his directing and acting debut, Quinn has continued to promote youth engagement in the arts along with fostering a passion for youth leadership development. He accredits much of his personal and professional success to the support and guidance he has received throughout his experience with the performing arts. The connection between the performing arts and other components of his life is what ignites Quinn’s passion for the work the MacPhee Centre does – first hand experiencing the power of connecting passion with purpose.
