Lauren is an artist, facilitator and critical craft researcher working in the medium of rug hooking. Her art-based research projects map the intersections of craft and power and explore how craft can be used as a resistance tool and an expression of queer joy. She has facilitated rug hooking projects with Xpace Cultural Centre, Myseum of Toronto, the Girls Art League, Workman Arts and Halifax Pride.

Lauren loves cats, dogs, pizza, friendship, swimming in every season, and donuts.
