Mark Roach is a psychological health and disability operations leader known for advancing evidence‑based, human‑centred approaches to psychological safety at work. A former Vice President at WCB Nova Scotia, he led the development of the province’s Psychological Injury Practice Model and strengthened trauma‑informed, consistent care for workers experiencing psychological harm.
With experience spanning Sun Life, Manulife, and system‑level leadership roles, Mark brings a blend of clinical insight, operational excellence, and strategic foresight. His work focuses on helping organizations build psychologically safe cultures, reduce stigma, and align their systems to support recovery, performance, and inclusion.
An out member of the 2SLGBTQI+ community, Mark is committed to creating workplaces where people feel safe, valued, and able to thrive.
He serves on the Board of Directors for the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning, advises Unsinkable on lived‑experience storytelling, and volunteers with Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.
