Sunita Dave (She/They)

Sunita is a youth worker with over 10 years of experience supporting young people across camps, education, residential care, healthcare, and community spaces. With a background in Music Therapy, she is passionate about using creativity as a tool for connection, self-expression, confidence, and belonging.

Throughout her work with youth-serving organizations across Canada and internationally, Sunita has developed and facilitated arts, recreation, leadership, and empowerment programs for diverse communities. She is driven by equity and inclusion and cares deeply about ensuring youth have access to opportunities. Sunita brings a youth-centred approach to her work and is passionate about creating spaces where youth feel safe to explore their identities and be their most authentic selves.

Known to many as “Ember” for the spark she hopes to inspire in young people, Sunita believes that everyone has potential within them and feels grateful that her work allows her to play a small role in helping youth discover and unlock theirs!
