Sneak Peek at Fall 2024 Programs

We’re gearing up for an exciting new term starting on September 23, 2024! Over the next ten weeks (around 2 and a half months), we’ll host two programs each weekday from 4 PM to 6 PM, packed with creativity, connection, and fun.

Returning Favourites

This fall, we’re bringing back some of your favourite programs, like Painting with Diana and Silas and the ever-popular Boat School (!!) with the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.

Be sure also to check out our BIPOC drop-in programs for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour. This term, we’re focusing on building community through personalized art activities celebrating creativity and culture. Join us on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 PM—you can register ahead or drop in!

Our GSA+ Queer Arts youth program for youth who identify as Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (2SLGBTQIA+), or an ally is back as well! Meet us Fridays from 4 to 6 PM for a deep dive into queer artist movements, connection, and creative projects—register ahead of drop in on the day!

New Programs You Won’t Want to Miss

This term, we’ve got some fresh additions to the lineup:

  • Digital Drawing with Rowan: Want to take your art to the digital world? Rowan will walk you through everything you need to know about digital drawing software. Don’t worry about equipment—we’ve got tablets and computers ready for you!
  • Skateboarding Arts with Aidan: Dive into the creative world of skateboarding culture. From clothing design to video editing, music, fashion, and visual arts, this program will have you designing your own projects while exploring the intersection of art and skateboarding.
  • Strings and Things: Love fibre arts? Whether you’re into knitting, crocheting, rug hooking, or weaving, this program is for you. Bring your project or start something new with us!

And that’s just the beginning—we’ve got six more programs lined up that we can’t wait to reveal! Keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook for more details as the start date approaches.
